Wonder La in Kochi

Wonder La is an amusement park situated in Pallikara offering fun rides. Positioned in Pallikara this park covers a total area of 30 acres and is on a hill at an altitude of 77m.

It opened in 2005 and initially it was called the Veega Land Amusement Park. In April 2001 the park got rebranded as Wonderla but it continues to offer some exciting rides that will definitely build up your thrilling experience.

Wonder La has both land and water rides for its visitors. Fun rides are not only for children but you have many rides for adults too. Water rides, kiddie rides, family rides and hair raising ride are the basic types of rides available at the park. A total of fifty five rides and twenty six water rides are available to all. 

Restrictions have been put on people with a weak heart as well as pregnant ladies. One highlight of this park is the indoor musical fountain that has a laser show too. The dance floors features rain showers that are electronically controlled and children love dancing to the music. 

Apart from the entertainment part they do first aid facilities and emergency paging system. There are around 2350 lockers and you can get one to safely store your valuables. There are also restrooms and showers for everyone.

The amusement park, the rides and the swimming pool are kept clean. There are five water treatment plants that recycle and clean the water here. They have also set up a laboratory to regularly check the quality of water. Rain water harvesting is also done and filtered water is later used for drinking. 

Rain water is collected and stored in tanks which in total can be about 20 million liters of water. During winter season water in the swimming is also kept warm using solar heaters.

Wonder La is good recreational spot and its an apt place to unwind from your daily busy schedule. Many restaurants and hotels have also opened up here. 

You can also organize various events like birthday parties, meetings or conferences. Schools can avail the special concessions and group discounts are also provided for college students as well tourists.

EZ Pay

Here's what you need to do to start using the EZ Pay facility in the park -
1. Go to the ticket or locker counters
2. Ask for the EZ Pay band, pay the security deposit and then add money as needed on the watch by paying at the counter
3. Flash the band at any counter inside the park to buy food, garments, souvenirs, etc.

When it's time for you to leave, you get a refund of your unused money. The EZ Pay wristband makes moving around the park hassle-free. You need not worry about carrying a wallet around, just use EZ Pay for all services inside the park.
